| Cross Alert Systems delivers unique active traffic warning system to Cary, NC. This system provides warning to cars exiting a subdivision that vehicles approaching on a State highway are hidden by a dip in the road. Two poles were placed about 600 feet from the subdivision exit. These poles are A/C powered with battery backup, and they are outfitted with vehicle microwave detectors from MSSEDCO. When a vehicle is detected, a radio transmission is sent to a pole in the driveway of the subdivision, which causes a warning light to flash. |
